Proptech investor Pi Labs has appointed a new head of capital raising.

Levi Levenfiche is to lead Pi Lab’s global fund raising efforts, as the UK-based venture capital firm builds on the momentum of a recent first closing for its third institutional fund.

Levenfiche was previously a project management associate at Hodes Weill & Associates, supporting the firm’s new business origination efforts and real estate private equity fund raising activity across the EMEA region.

Welcoming the new appointment, Faisal Butt, founder and CEO of Pi Labs, said: ‘Levi is a valuable addition to the team, as we continue to strengthen relationships with institutional investors from around the world and connect them with innovative entrepreneurs who are reshaping real estate globally.

'As Europe’s most active Proptech VC with more than 50 portfolio companies, we will continue to expand and invest in seed and pre-seed to Series A start-ups that offer pioneering solutions for the commercial real estate sector.

'Although the economic uncertainty from the ongoing pandemic continues, investors are still looking for opportunities to make a return on their capital and our breadth of experience and expertise in this sector positions us to deliver on that objective.'

Pi Lab’s latest fund drew support from institutional investors including Great Portland Estates, Patrizia, Revcap and Assura. The company has 51 proptech investments with a gross value total of €377 mln.
