A new property portal focusing on the UK's buy-to-let market is seeking to bring clarity and improved market data to a largely intransparent segment.

In development since 2019, the first phase of property.xyz was recently released by its co-founders, Robert Jones and Simone Di Cola.

The initial launch starts with a property search capability backed by extensive data, which uses intelligent search and sort filters to help buyers choose from over 100,000+ properties for sale.

Free residential property checks for buyers and sellers also aid the process, which the founders describe as 'designed by investors for investors'.

Its creators boast backgrounds in the technical and property spaces. Di Cola is a software engineer, with experience in a range of programming languages, concepts & technologies.

Jones has a background in the property space, having purchased his first buy-to-let in 2005 and working for Beresford Adams/Countrywide in 2006/07, before going on to build a property portfolio and helping international investors buy UK property. This latter experience demonstrated a need for more data-backed clarity and simplicity around sourcing property, according to Jones.

Jones said: 'Finding information about local market data to make better decisions is often complex, and as an investor, myself, I spend a great deal of time with my own documents and charts.

'With the growth of technology and access to data now is the perfect time to create a new property search portal from the ground up specifically designed for investor property buyers, and sellers. There's a ready market of property investors that are a perfect fit for sellers that wish to sell fast and without hassle.'
