Digital trading platform BidX1 appoints MD for Europe

BidX1, the innovative property trading company, has appointed Johnny Horgan as managing director of Europe to lead the firm's further international expansion.

 

'Following the successful launch of our digital trading platform in South Africa and our expansion into Cyprus and Spain, we have been provided with an exciting opportunity to grow our best-in-class team,' said Stephen McCarthy, founder & CEO at BidX1.

'We are looking forward to welcoming Johnny to BidX1 and benefitting from his wealth of expertise across European markets,' McCarthy added.

Horgan joins BidX1 from CBRE Ireland, where he led the capital markets team for the past five years as their executive director.

Prior to CBRE, Horgan was a member of the executive management team at Irish Life Investment Managers for five years and a founding partner of Warren Private, a private equity firm that focused on acquisitions and property management for European, Irish and UK assets. In total, has over two decades of experience working in real estate investment.
