Proptech company Coyote has appointed real estate veteran Rob Bould as the first chairman of the firm that was founded in 2017.

The move sees Bould step up from non-executive director at the real estate software company, which provides users with software for tracking the market, identifying opportunities and managing assets.

Coyote was co-established by CEO and chief technology officer Oli Farago, who also co-founded real estate firm M7. Welcoming Bould to the chairmanship, Farago said: ‘With over four decades of experience in real estate, Rob’s expertise and understanding of the sector is of an unparalleled calibre, so we are privileged that he has accepted to be the chairman of Coyote.

‘In the short time Rob has been on the board, he has already made big impact on the company, and I look forward to working with him even more closely as we continue to grow the business.’

Commenting on his promotion, Bould said: ‘Having been part of the Coyote journey since its launch over a year ago, I am immensely proud of all that has been achieved and am thrilled to have accepted the position of chairman.

‘Coyote has been revolutionising the way industry acquires and manages assets. We are at the epicentre of PropTech innovation, and, as technology continues to become more sophisticated and enabling for our lives, I look forward to the exciting developments that lie ahead.’

Becoming chairman of Coyote is the latest chapter in a career spanning more than 40 years for Bould, during which he has been CEO of Bilfinger GVA and executive vice president of Bilfinger Real Estate Gmbh. He presently holds a variety of senior advisory and non-executive director roles, while his philanthropic activities recently saw Bould elected as chair of the board of trustees at LandAid, a charity for homeless young people.

Alongside Bould and Farago, Coyote’s management team comprises fellow co-founder Andy Dyer, the director of sales and marketing, and Johnnie Simms, client services director.
