Chiswick Park, the business campus located in West London owned by private equity giant Blackstone, has become Europe’s first campus to be wired certified.

The 1.8 mln ft2 (168,000 m2) business park has achieved gold certification in all of its buildings, scoring a top-rated platinum for its newest building, building 7.

Wired certification is WiredScore's global rating scheme for digital connectivity in commercial real estate.

In 2018, Chiswick Park undertook improvements to the digital infrastructure of all 12 of its buildings in order to achieve the WiredScore accreditation. The campus hosts a business community made-up of more than 9,000 people and is home to the headquarters of 43 companies.

Matt Coulson, CEO Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work said: 'To be the first campus in Europe to reach wired certified gold and above across all 12 buildings underlines our ongoing commitment to provide occupiers with the highest digital connectivity offering.'

'Blackstone has ensured that their diverse occupier base will benefit from a level of connectivity able to meet the highest digital requirements and ensure the campus is future-proofed for years to come,' said William Newton, president & EMEA MD, WiredScore.

Tenants at Chiswick Park currently include Discovery, Danone and IMG, as well as 10 technology companies.
