Flexible office specialist Workthere, which is part of Savills, has announced the appointment of Fabrice Le Roux as head of Workthere, France.

Le Roux will be based in the firm's Paris headquarters on Boulevard Haussmann in the centre of the city.

With 20 years of experience in the flexible office sector, Le Roux will be in charge of developing Workthere’s activity in order to meet the growing market needs in terms of flexible and creative workspaces.

In his role, he will be working across all Savills France departments, including the regional teams as well as developing close links to other Workthere teams across the globe.

Ed Bouterse, head of Workthere Europe, added: 'This is a significant hire for our team in France as we continue to grow our presence across the continent. While the start of this year is likely to be challenging on a global level, we anticipate an increase in activity as we progress through the year.'

Before joining Savills France, Le Roux was a founding partner at Realers, a digital office rental platform for companies. He also held the position of sales director at Wojo for two years, after having worked for almost 16 years as international key account director at Regus.

The French Workthere offer was launched in 2017 and is closely aligned with the tenant representation team, which is led by Serge Vayer.

Vayer said: 'I am looking forward to working with such an experienced professional as Fabrice, who will be able to continue the development of Workthere. His dynamism and entrepreneurial spirit are valuable assets to make it the reference platform, dedicated to coworking, in France.'
